Sydney Seafood School: Chef-Packed Autumn Series

Autumn is about to begin, and for Sydney Seafood School, that means a new and exciting schedule of cooking classes. This seasonal series is packed with the largest number guest presenters in many years! 


Seafood trendsetter (Kiln), personality-packed social star , 'vege-lante' , healthy eating mogul , the Fish Shop's , and modern Chinese expert (Redbird) top the line-up from March to May. 


A number of special event classes are also scheduled, including: 

  • on March 18th, teaching you how to prepare Australia's favourite species in three different, delicious ways. 

  • on April 1st, providing you with the ultimate Easter Entertaining menu ahead of the long weekend, from stunningly simple appetisers, to a whole fish centrepiece, to decadent baked desserts. 

  • on May 7th, providing the perfect opportunity to gather the family for a decadent long brunch ahead of Mother's Day. 

  • on April 29th, where SFM Tour Guide Alex Stollznow will take you on a deep dive into one of Australia's (and the world's) most misunderstood delicacies. You'll also get a meet and greet with one of the artisinal fishers who hand-dives for the species!


As usual, the School's fan-favourite classes are also scheduled, covering cuisines from all over the world: 

  • Lovers of Asian flavours can learn about the region through two iconic street-food dishes,  and , as well as the deep-dive .

  • European, Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisines are explored in-depth in , , and (which now includes two new recipes). 

  • And the basics are well and truly covered with , , and .
